Our main farms are located in the Bogota plateau in the Andes highlands, by the villages of Tenjo, Sopo, and Funza. We have a 24 hectares (60 acres) of greenhouses, with an average temperature of 15º C / 60° F and a drip irrigation system based on three wells and five reservoirs fed with rainwater. In addition we have 10 hectares (25 acres) by the village of Flandes, where the temperature averages 26° C / 86° F. These strategic locations guarantees an all year round production of all products and varieties required by our customers.

 

For our exports we have a 180 square meter (2,000 square feet) packing facility in the main farm, where product selection, packaging, and storage activities take place insuring the constant temperature required to guarantee the cold chain from the moment the products are harvested. In addition we have a 300 square meter (3,500 square feet) operations center in the town of Cota, just outside Bogota, with offices, warehouse and coolers for the distribution of fresh products and for the VIGO-Alessi line we now import.
